Super easy & cute. You will have a great time doing this project together and they will love giving it to you on your special day.
Enjoy!
Materials Needed:
- 1 piece of construction paper
- tissue paper – cut into squares -- approx. 6 inches works well
- markers, crayons, stickers, etc.
- tape
- glue (optional)
- paintbrush (optional)
Instructions:
- Have your child decorate the construction paper with markers, crayons, stickers, etc. (whatever you have in the house).
- Help your child roll the paper into a cone shape and tape it together. This is going to be the wrapping around the flower bouquet.
- If using glue, have your child brush glue on the inside of the cone with the paintbrush.
- Have your child crumple each square of tissue paper.
- Have your child stuff the crumpled up tissue paper into the paper cone. (The glue will help to keep the tissue paper “flowers” inside).
- Have them share with a loved one.
- Act surprised if for you!
- Hug, kiss, repeat.
